YVES SAINT LAURENT FOREVER LIGHT CREATOR SERUM

I absolutely adore YSL. Their Manifesto perfume is my favourite scent to date and I love their lipsticks and glosses. There is something in the way the products make you feel when you buy them. Usually laden in gold packaging and a little on the more expensive side of the beauty world, it feels like a real treat when I buy something. So when I heard that their Forever Light Creator was up to go on sale on the 12th, I rushed straight down to House of Frasier and picked up a few samples.
I know it has been out for a while now, but I have been using it for the last 2 weeks, so I can give you all a proper review of how it’s going, rather than just first impressions. Speaking of which, I am not a serum kinda girl. I have never used them before and I was a bit nervous to use them, as the word just sounds quite scary. But it is just a light gel formula that feels a lot like The Body Shop’s Seaweed day cream, only with a nicer smell and a silkier texture. Unfortunately, the camera doesn't capture the gorgeous pink shimmer very well, but this doesn't really transfer as shimmery on your face anyway. I used this all over my face and doubled up in places that I felt needed some smoothing out, like my forehead. After the serum is worked in, I lightly pinch my skin to further activate the formula, which was recommended in some of the demonstrations I have been to.

I have used this every morning since the 10th July and I am really noticing how much my skin is changing. My complexion does feel a lot smoother and I haven’t used any highlighting pigments bellow my brow line or around my eyes at all since the start. This product claims to minimize shadows and even out your skin tone in 7 days, and I am happy to say it lives up to its hype. After 22 days, the 30ml bottle I bought looks barely touched. Unfortunately, it may be a different story now as I have lent it to a friend to try… woops! If you want to try this yourself, prices range from 61 to 82 pounds, you can pick up a sample from House of Fraiser or you can try the sample box of the Forever Light Creator range here. Have you tried this product yet? What do you think about serums? Will I ever see my Light Creator again?
