Personally, I find it really difficult to
find body creams and moisturisers that sink in to my skin quickly enough for me
to put my jeans on and not have it feel like a Mr Motivator work out video. Who
has the time or patience to wait for their skin to dry in the mornings before
you can get changed, only to feel that it still hasn’t set in by lunchtime at
work? Well after hearing so many mixed reviews of Garnier’s additions to their
Intensive 7 days range, I felt I had to put it to the test and try it for myself.
Now there’ll probably be some of you out
there thinking ‘I don’t have time to moisturise everyday!’ and to that, I
completely agree, but they only recommend this for a couple of weeks, then once
every few days after. I almost put the product back and chose the new Vaseline
spray on moisturiser, as it just looks so much easier, but I took my chances,
and thankfully so! Plus the mango oil option won me over. True to form, I have
been using this everyday for a week now, covering myself head-to-toe after I
have got out the shower – I feel this works best as slightly damp skin helps it
sink in easily. The mango oil has a lovely fragrance. You don’t get those weird
oily speckles on the surface of your skin that you do with some oil-based
creams and gels. On the bottle, they actually recommend that you use this twice
daily, which in my opinion, isn’t really needed, but it would be a great top up
for dryer skin types before bed as it is so light and sinks in so easily and
quickly on its own, so not to get your sheets all bunched up and hot.
The great thing about this moisturiser is
that it comes in loads of options for different skin types. Whether your skin is
dry, extra dry, rough, sensitive, normal or just needs a bit of refreshing, for
a quick, smoothing and nicely smelling cream or gel, I highly recommend this
range. And at the moment, its only £2.09 on offer in Boots!
So cool I have the same and I love it.^^
